Students and educators at Rockmart High School took time out of their busy days to show their support for local veterans with a display out in front of the campus on Highway 113.
RHS’s Christina Garrett got thousands of small flags back out this year to place in front of Rockmart High School ahead of the November 11 holiday honoring those who have served and sacrificed in the United States Armed Forces. Previously, Garrett had help from students and the community placing the display in front of Van Wert Elementary School.
She reported that 3,500+ flags were placed in front of the campus this year with the help of a group of students.
