Some good news for the Rockmart Lady Jackets cheer squad! They took a top spot in their Class, hitting fourth this year in competition cheer for the delayed fall season.

The Lady Jackets took the top spot in region cheer as well. They finished their year on February 16 in a trip to Macon, Georgia.

The state title was won by Mary Persons in Class AAA, followed by Pierce County and Dawson County in second and third. The Lady Jackets topped region foes Ringgold, Sonoraville and Adairsville during the event.
