The 2021 edition of the annual rodeo featuring bull rides, barrel race

Clean up your boots and dust off your favorite hat, the rodeo is returning to town next weekend.

Tickets are on sale now for the annual two-day event at Haney Arena on Morgan Valley Road just outside of the Rockmart city limits that starts on September 10 and continues through Sept. 11.

This upcoming IPRA Sanctioned 8 Events and True Family Entertainment produced rodeo includes bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc, steer wrestling, calf roping, girls break away roping, team roping and a cowgirls barrell race.

Additionally, kids events and pony rides are available as well. The annual event helps the Rockmart FFA, the Polk County Sheriff’s CHAMPS program and concessions are being provided by the Polk County Young Farmers for 2021.

Advanced tickets are available at Haney Farm and Ranch & Powersports or the Polk County Sheriffs Office and are $12 for adults and $10 for youth. Children 3 and under are free.
