The moms who run Sanity Coffee Company joined with local leaders to celebrate a ribbon cutting for their new location in downtown Rockmart.

Sanity Coffee Company opened up their doors to customers in Rockmart in October, and after a busy first month in business, Jessica Ellington and Halie Parker finally got the time to host local leaders for a ribbon cutting ceremony to welcome the coffee shop officially to downtown Rockmart.

The Rockmart Downtown Development Authority’s board and director Ann Arnold, plus Mayor Sherman Ross and the Sanity family joined together for a ceremony at the coffee shop on December 7.

The Thursday event came just ahead of a busy evening for the coffee shop as the Christmas Parade brought a big crowd to downtown Rockmart before closing time.

Online orders are available for Rockmart and Cedartown locations. Hours are currently listed as Monday through Thursday 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Sanity Coffee Company is located on South Marble Street in downtown Rockmart and on East Avenue/Rockmart Highway in Cedartown.
