Art sessions begin on Monday with two options available at 1 and 3 p.m., again on Wednesday at 1 and 3 p.m., Thursday at 1 and 3 p.m. and Friday at 1 and 3 p.m. Tuesday’s session is only available at 3 p.m. A different canvas option is available for each session (see below.)

Costs are $20 per session, per child. A snack is included with each session. Reach out to 762-254-0929 to sign up for a limited number of spots available.
Owner Synetta Whatley said this is part of a larger effort to increase opportunities at Sipping W/A Swirl of Paint for amateur artists of all ages to have fun and learn how to increase their skills. She plans to have monthly workshops, a weeklong summer camp, and will be adding new options for crafting – including guided projects featuring wood cutouts and doormats, to a crochet class being offered by Lisa Martin in the weeks and months ahead.
“I want to expand. I don’t want people to think that when they come in they only have to paint,” she said.
However she notes that even those who aren’t familiar and have fears of “messing up” while enjoying a session because an instructor is on hand and shows participants what to do along the way.
“A lot of people get scared, they come in and think ‘I don’t know if I can do this,’” she said. “It’s going to be fine. She’s (the instructor) is going to help you.”
