The Polk County Board of Education held their monthly regular session on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 with all board members present.

Among the votes taken was approval of a Memorandum of Understanding with Solarcycle and local municipalities allowing for tax abatements for their manufacturing facility, a change in handbooks for updates in policies, and an updated policy on inventory control of assets for the district.

The Board of Education meets on the first Tuesday of each month for their Work Session, and the second Tuesday of each month for their regular session at the Board Meeting Room at 4 p.m.
