The above regular session of the Cedartown City Commission was held on Monday, January 13, 2025 at City Hall.

The meeting began with a public hearing over a proposed zoning change on Davis Road, then gaveled into session and saw the election of a new Chair and Vice Chair – Commissioners Sam Branch and Matt Foster, respectively.

The Commission honored Cedartown High School’s state champion Game Day Cheer squad, heard a manager’s report on several items, and voted on: deciding to retain the city solicitor and municipal court judge; a lease renewal for a One Door Polk tenant; tabling the zoning change until a traffic study comes in for February’s meeting; a four way stop at Cave Spring Road and West Girard Avenue; and provided comments to close out the session.
