SUBSCRIBER VIDEO: Gretchen Corbin talks lottery history and more at the PCHS’ meeting

The Georgia Lottery turned 30 this year after voters approved it statewide in 1992 following a lot of hard conversations in the community.

Gretchen Corbin, who grew up in Cedartown and once worked at the bank that now houses the Polk County Historical Society Museum on West Avenue, talked about her personal history and that of the Georgia Lottery and in some ways how the two have entwined over the past years that she’s headed the organization.
