A two-year long effort to replace the old wooden structure that made up the Peek Park Playground was completed this month, and opened to the public during the Cedar Valley Arts Festival on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

The above video is a brief tribute to the volunteers, donors, city officials and many others who took part in a week-long build in March and the rest of the work completed over the past month. Footage from this one was shot during three of the five days of the build, and during the celebration.

Please enjoy the new playground with care, and make sure to clean up after yourselves to ensure future generations enjoy a place to play.
