County Commissioners gathered on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 for their monthly work session.

This month’s session included information shared on seven different changes requested for zoning or changes in permitted uses for residential properties and one change from agricultural to industrial zoning.

Among those items covered was the SafeHaven Ranch’s zoning change from A-1 to PRD, and information shared by Jason Slaughter of Community Share Ministries, a residential parent who already helps children in need of a loving family, and neighbors who were against the change.

Commissioners also heard committee reports and went over the agenda for the regular session, held after a short break.
