From the Polk School District posting:

“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” Benjamin Franklin

This week we launched the Superintendent’s Advisory Council at Cedartown and Rockmart High Schools. In an effort to provide a platform for student voices, Dr. Katie Thomas, Superintendent, met with leaders at both high schools.

Students participated in activities, discussion, and planning to drive positive change in their schools and community.

IMPRESSED is an understatement when it comes to our students, their passion, and their ideas! We cannot wait to see their efforts as we focus on our theme for September, “BE THE CHANGE.”

We are #bettertogether! #PSDproud#CHSproud#RHSproud#positivevibesonly#PSDtheplacetobe
