Superior Court Candidate Andrew Roper makes stop in Buchanan for meet and greet with voters

BUCHANAN – Superior Court Judge candidate Andrew Roper is taking the opportunity to seek and find support throughout all of the Tallapoosa Circuit, and not just in his hometown, in a second try to for the seat and hoping to take over for embattled Chief Judge Meng Lim.

Roper – a Judge in his own right – made a morning stop before the workday began at Kimball’s General Store in Buchanan to meet and greet potential voters in the upcoming May 24 primary.

He said he was glad to be getting into Haralson County to introduce himself to voters – and enjoy some good food.

“It was great to get out to Kimball’s this morning and get to talk with so many good folks, and I’m so grateful and encouraged by the support we received,” Roper said. “And I have to add: breakfast was fantastic.”

Roper has additional Haralson-based events planned in the coming days. This weekend he’s at the Tallapoosa Dogwood Festival and will be in the parade that is set for 2 p.m. He’s also planning to hold additional events in early May, and participate in the Haralson County Republican Party’s May 14 meeting as well.

Check back for updates on announcements about those events as they become available.
