Talking Points on Polk Today: Episode 10 with Hometown Pizza and Grill owner Rick Smith

Hometown Pizza and Grill is now in its 30th year, and despite setbacks this year from the pandemic and a fire are up and running, and continuing to help the community.

All because locals are the core of his business, according to owner Rick Smith. Earlier in the year when the fire shut down his kitchen and restaurant, he was told it would take weeks before repairs were finished and he’d be up and running again. Instead, he was back in business in six days.

Note: the promotion that Hometown Pizza is running from November 16 through November 20 will benefit the band with 10% of the week’s profits from the event.
