A man who was shot during an domestic incident on Wednesday is recovering from injuries, and may face charges after he is released from the hospital.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking into the shooting incident that saw Flint Dawson Warren injured on Wednesday afternoon by the Polk County Police when they responded to a Pleasant Hill Road address following a 911 call for a domestic altercation.
Warren, 63, is now in stable condition after he was shot by a Polk County Police officer during an incident with police after they responded to a domestic altercation.
He was airlifted after being shot to an Atlanta-area hospital for treatment.
Warren is likely to face charges when he is released from the hospital following the domestic dispute. A Polk County Police report on the incident wasn’t yet available to provide further information about what prompted the initial incident.
