It’s finally here! The ads are coming to an end, the campaigns are wrapping up and now it is time to cast the ballot and see what results of American democracy in action!
Polk County has seven precincts open for voters this morning after just around 50% of the total number of people registered locally cast their ballot during the three weeks of early voting.
If you didn’t get to Cedartown or Rockmart in early voting precincts, here’s some info about where you need to go and how long you have to vote on Election Day:
Voting times
7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at all seven precincts. Polls close at 7; counting begins after.

Aragon
The Aragon voting precinct is located at Aragon City Hall at 2814 Rome Hwy., Aragon, Ga., 30104.
BLOOMING GROVE
The Blooming Grove precinct is located at Pine Bower Baptist Church at 100 Pine Bower Rd., Cedartown, Ga., 30125.
CAMP ANTIOCH
Camp Antioch is located at 3900 Antioch Road, Cedartown, Ga., 30125.
CEDARTOWN
The Goodyear Civic Center hosts the Cedartown precinct at 108 Prior St., Cedartown, Ga., 30125.
FISH CREEK
The Fish Creek precinct is located at Victory Baptist Church at 15 Hendrix Road, Cedartown, Ga., 30125.
LAKE CREEK
The Cedar Lake Christian Center hosts the Lake Creek precinct at 1890 Rome Hwy., Cedartown, Ga., 30125.
ROCKMART
The Rockmart Community Center is located at 605 Goodyear Ave., Rockmart, Ga., 30153.
