In an organization that needs a volunteer project? Or want to do your part to help with community cleanup efforts?
There’s a new program being organized by the City of Rockmart that needs your help.
From the city’s Facebook page:
We are looking for Trail Ranger volunteers to assist in maintaining the beauty of the Silver Comet Trail in Polk County.
We will be hosting a meeting, Thursday, February 11, at 6:00 pm at the Rockmart Trailhead, next to Seaborn Jones Park.
At the meeting, we will discuss the role of a Trail Ranger volunteer, partnerships and leadership. Outdoor spaces in Rockmart can define our community in so many ways: keeping families and friends connected; improving health and wellness of the residents; bringing in new businesses; increasing home values; and much more. Let’s come together as a community to help keep our town and trails beautiful, clean, and safe for generations to come.
