The Polk County Chamber of Commerce wants to make sure people in the community know that local businesses within Polk County are open and ready for customers, and it is as simple as looking around the front door of your favorite place to shop, eat or pay for services.

Chamber Executive Director Blair Elrod kicked off the campaign late last week providing 51 bows to member businesses, to symbolize renewal, growth and hope for those shops, restaurants and more that are opening back up after the COVID-19 shutdowns of past months.

She is also providing additional bows to those in the community who want to participate, and those interested can contact her at info@polkgeorgia.com.

The Chamber is additionally asking people who are out and about in the community to share photos and tag the Chamber to help support locally-owned businesses throughout Polk County.

Georgia Power and Bussey’s Florist sponsored the campaign. Check out the Chamber’s Facebook page (or click their ad) to see a gallery of all the businesses participating in the campaign.
