The West Cinema in downtown Cedartown is bringing together a Mystery Movie with the chance for youth to also enjoy some time with furry friends as well.
But don’t worry, the theater won’t smell like a barnyard for the feature film.
The movie theater’s weekly promotion providing family-friendly films on Mondays for youth out of school needing some entertainment is about to get a bit educational with the April 7 selection. West Cinema is teaming up with the Cook Farm to provide the movie at 11 a.m., and then a petting zoo behind the Polk County Historical Society museum for families to get a chance to see some animals found on farms across the area.
Look for the Petting Zoo to run from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
City Commissioners during the March meeting gave conditional permission for the petting zoo to use the parking lot behind the Historical Society the April event.
Mystery Movie Mondays are a weekly promotion that is free to watch. Concessions are for sale as well. Showtimes begin at 11 a.m.
Check out the West Cinema Facebook page to keep up with current showings on the weekends.
