Mr. William Bunyan Carnes

Mr. William Bunyan Carnes, age 73 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025.  

He was born on March 14, 1951 in Cedartown, Georgia. He was the son of the late W.B. and Margaret Allen Carnes. 

Mr. Carnes is survived by his daughter, Joan Hamrick (Glenn); step-daughters, Pam Bass (Jerry), Samantha Landrum, Cara Bradshaw (Corey); step-sons, Jeff Crawford and Mark Blankenship (Ami); sister, Janet Morris; brother, Bobby Carnes (Carol); grandchildren, Beth Taylor, Patricia Smith, Cody Smith, Will Smith, James Smith, Brandon Crawford (Ashley), Matthew Bass, Bruce Bass, Harrison Barnett (Cassidy) and Kennedy Barnett; great-grandchildren, Ruston Crawford, Addley Crawford, Noah Crawford, Macklin Cordero and Madden Cordero; companion, Jean Landrum. Several nieces and nephews and several other extended family members also survive. 

Mr. Carnes is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ruby Anderson; and brother, Boyd Carnes.  

 In keeping with his wishes Mr. Carnes will be cremated, and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
